Step 9: Finalize Details
Modular homes built to the UBC
code are the most complete
when they leave the factory.
Usually, all electrical,
plumbing, energy, drywall,
floor, wall, ceiling,
roofing and siding systems
are completed in the
factory. Completing as
many tasks in the factory as
possible using routine procedures ensures a higher level of quality control and the lowest possible construction costs per square foot. This means a more affordable home price and fewer |

subcontractors
at the construction site.
Given even the highest degree of
factory completion, certain tasks
must be completed at the building
site in order to integrate the home
with the lot and the surrounding
neighborhood

Adjust windows and doors
as required.
2. Complete all mechanical
installations and connections
which including:
heating, plumbing, electric,
phone, venting, exterior
lights, cable. doorbell,

detectors.
3. Check for leaks by
air pressurizing the systems
before water pressurizing
plumbing and heating.
4. Repair any glass or
mirror items that may
have broken during transport
5. Repair any cosmetic
cracks resulting from
transport

Finish any touch up
painting, interior
and exterior, that
may be needed.

in all fixtures inside
and outside.

cement work including
