Step 7: Receive Home

Once the modules have been completed at the factory, they are shipped to the building site for assembly.

Consider the Following:

Your foundation should be set and approved prior to delivery of your new Modular Home.

1. Your site access needs to be adequate to accommodate the modules and equipment and on-site storage. Otherwise, permission needs to be obtained when parking on the street or off the site.

2. The area around the foundation must be clear of obstructions and trash to allow parking and moving of equipment and safe working conditions for the crane and set crews.

3. Once your Modular home arrives, your contractor will arrange for a crane to remove the modules and place them on the foundation. 

4. Shipping costs include "curb-side delivery": delivery of the home from the factory to the street in front of the property.
